Child is Father of Man

In our role as a parent, we often teach kids a lot of stuff that we tend to forget ourselves at times. It is funny when the same child brings up those morals back to life when we need them the most.

In one such conversation with my daughter , I unintentionally brought up a small problem more than once (about a non functional switch ). Well, this may not have been a big problem but a lose socket was definitely irritating.. Sipping her milk unpurturbed, the 6 year old said something very basic but meaningful - “Papa When we don’t laugh at same joke twice, why should we cry over the same problem again - call up the electrician and get it fixed !!”

She might have just repeated what was told to her long back, but the timing was superb!

We live to discover life- if we are stuck in same complaints of broken pieces, we may never be able to build another picture!!

Go out and try what you haven’t- for same actions would never lead to different results
